Secretariat won the Triple Crown. The movie, American Graffiti, was released. A new home cost $35,000. One gallon of cost was $.39 and a first-class stamp was $.08. Mark Spitz swam his way into heroism in sports.

And a group of men met around a table to talk about reaching students on college campuses.....

Over the next 35 years, as a result of the vision of those men, Christian Student Fellowship has grown into a campus ministry stretching across the state of Nebraska and involving students from around the world. CSF, aka The Lighthouse and CCCF (College and Career Christian Fellowship) started with a handful of students and now numbers in the hundreds each semester. Visiting the websites of each campus (top of this page) shows how broad the range of activities are - Large group teaching & worship, small groups for Bible study and accountability, mission trips, community service, retreats, social activities, sports, and much more.

35 years of ministry. We invite you to join the CSF staff and board of directors to celebrate God's leading and His faithfulness over three decades. CSF has not only a rich history, but a promising future. CSF alumni are reaching the world, reflecting the impact left on their lives during their college years. Farmers who teach a Sunday school class, homemakers reading Bible stories to their children and baking bread for church visitors, lawyers taking cases pro bono to defend the cause of Christianity, missionaries around the world - boldly reaching and teaching God's Word, many in countries where Christians are persecuted. Secretaries, teachers, and computer programmers witnessing with their words or their lifestyles to the coworkers that they serve Jesus Christ.
