ABOUT CSF
What do
other CSFers say?
"...my faith all but vanished.....As
a nineteen-year-old freshman, I’m thankful that growing up, I had solid
faith in the Lord.
But by the time I came to college, my spiritual life was
suffering.
I think back on my first day at college—I met a guy with an amazing love
for Jesus. He kept encouraging me to go to CSF with him. I agreed to
visit and “try it out” so I went...I felt comfortable and accepted.
Nobody there was ashamed for loving Christ. We have awesome discussions
about anything and everything. Things like how just important it is to
trust God, and ways to have fun without drinking. I’ve met some of my
best friends at CSF...and I can’t imagine my college life without it.”

“at college, it was so tempting to give my faith a break
while
I was at college like so many other students seem to do.
After all, my parents weren’t going to be there to take me to church
anymore, and people always talk about the new things you should
experience during college.
I
am so thankful that CSF was there to encourage me and challenge me to
make my faith my own….”
Christian Student Fellowship is an
independent, non-denominational fellowship of believers who seek to
follow Christ and wear only His name. Made up of university students and
young career professionals, we are not connected to any external
denominational authority or controlling organization. A Board of
Directors from area Christian Churches/Churches of Christ make up the
visionary leadership team of the organization and believe the following
convictions of faith. Claiming not to be the only Christians, we focus
our efforts on authentically living up to what that name represents by
being Christians Only. We feel there is a need to have agreement in the
fundamental teachings of the Bible, freedom when it comes to individual
matters of opinion, and a demonstration of love shown in the "gray"
areas of Christian thought. Unity between everyone who believes in Jesus
Christ and lives to obey His commands is our hope. |
